We have deployed camera traps (remote motion-sensor wildlife cameras) throughout Atlanta. These cameras will give us important information for many species, such as coyotes, raccoons, foxes, and skunks. For this portion of our study, we are looking at the distribution of wildlife across the landscape. We are particularly interested in understanding what landscape characteristics may contribute to species distribution.
You may have seen some of our cameras around town. If you do run across one, please do not disturb the camera as it is at the best angle and position to photograph wildlife.
