During the summer, the team worked on a kid-friendly urban wildlife guide to educate children, and parents, on local mammal, bird, reptile, and amphibian species that they may encounter on a day-to-day basis in an urban area. It was a lot of work – we wanted it to be perfect – and we are thrilled with the outcome! The guides will be distributed throughout metro-Atlanta and other urban areas in Georgia so both kids and parents can learn about their local fauna.
