The Atlanta Science Festival is an annual event, spanning over multiple days and locations, that aims to expand access to science learning opportunities for all ages and features over 100 engaging events in Metro Atlanta.

The Wildlife Atlanta team participated in the “Exploration into Atlanta’s Natural Resources” event where organizations and programs from across Georgia came together to educate the public and create a more wildlife friendly city. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Zoo Atlanta, Trees Atlanta, and EcoAddendum also participated in this event.

Summer presented an overview on the research Wildlife Atlanta is doing including an introduction to coyote ecology while Danny and Carson interacted with participates and passed out information at a booth. It was awesome to see so many people who were interested and wanting to know more about what we do to help bring awareness to Atlanta.
